When PupCalm is brand new, the fit can feel a little snug — that’s completely normal. To open it, turn it upside down and press firmly on one inner opening. Rotate slightly and press the other side to release the top. After a few uses, it will begin to twist open more easily.
If your pup manages to pop it open, don’t panic. Most of the time, that just means the inner tabs were pressed a little too firmly during setup. Simply reshape them gently back into place to restore that snug fit. After adjusting, it should feel secure again.
PupCalm works best with smooth, pourable treats such as bone broth, kefir, gently blended wet food, or milk-thin yogurt drinks. These textures are easier to lick slowly and help create a more soothing experience. Thick or sticky spreads aren’t recommended, as they can disrupt the calm and create unnecessary mess
Yes — and it’s a great way to extend calm.
For longer, more soothing sessions, freeze the removable inner ball only before use. Or for even longer use, freeze the bowl with the liquid for 3 hours max. This slows things down without freezing food into the bowl.
